Emulsion Photoglass: A silver halide photoplate that when exposed and developed produces a high definition black opaque pattern. These photoplates are orthochromatic in that they are sensitive to green and blue light. Most optical systems in the micro imaging industry to produce photomasks use these two wavelengths. We recommend than only one narrow band wavelingth be used to maximize resolution of the images. Emulsion photoglass is used to produce photomasks used in the micro-imaging, semiconductor, and optical industries. In addition it is widely used to image holographic patterns, radiograpahy and Research & Development.
